The weather in Chennai  is just great and looks like spring! This waterfall statue seems to be new.Some pictures  from  Beach Road and  Marina beach .

Marina Beach is one of the world’s longest and broadest beaches and a famous characteristic of the beach is the stone statues that adorn the roadside area of the beach. Most statues are of Indian legends like Mahatma Gandhi, Thiruvalluvar etc..

Today we  had a nice family reunion lunch at the Copper Point -GRT Grand Days(one of my dad’s favorite restaurants).The highlight of this restaurant is the tasty food served in copper utensils, with the decor having signs of copper everywhere including the copper chandelier.Here is a picture of a vegetarian thali that I had.

Fryums are served before the main course as a complimentary, but one must be careful before eating them,one pop and the pepper hits you straight inside and you will have to gulp a glass of water.
