That’s what I am watching right now on Channel W TripleFlix .Don’t know how I missed it before.This movie is wonderful!  Drew Barrymore(Danielle De Barbarac) does a fantastic job as Cinderella . Dougray Scott(Prince Henry)is the Prince of France and he falls in love with her spirit and mind.The scenery is gorgeous and the actors and actresses do such a wonderful job at making their characters come alive.

The movie runs around three parallel main  stories,  and one sub story that revolve around a cricket theme. Nice to see Danny Denzonpa,Nana Patekar and Paresh Raval  all in one movie after a longtime.The film has good overall performances from its actors and there are quite a few interesting moments.The song Ek Pal Ne Jaate Jaate Aanewaale Pal Se Kahaan is good to listen.Looks like it was released for the world cup cricket season,no where to Lagaan or something. Nothing novel and becomes boring after the first hour.

With seven teams remaining,who will be eliminated was this week’s question? Uchenna and Joyce were marked for elimination last week and had to arrive first or will suffer the consequences of a 30 minute penalty.

The stress of the race was really getting to people but looks like Charla and Mirna,Oswald and Danny were really having fun with the race.Getting a flight out off Maputo to Dar es Salaam seemed difficult for many teams.The island of Zanzibar looks beautiful and the skill to solve a task of mind-a puzzle looked cool. The road block Toss Rungu(tossing  to a target) required persistence and concentration to the task.

I really enjoyed Charla and Mirna’s  team spirit and they are really making me smile.  Anyways,this week pitstop was the Old fort in Zanzibar,a 18th century fortress.Charla and Mirna were first and this is the second one in a row! Good for them!

Having known the significance of  the gayathri manthra,it was interesting to listen to this podcast by a foreigner on vishwamitra and the gayathri manthra. Quite good though.

Has some funny scenes but nothing novel,just an unexciting masala of two crooks wanting to win each other to lay their hands on a booty ,and this story has been cycled and recycled time after time and seen many  times on the silverscreen. Sanjay Dutt had the usual stuff he had acted in David Dhawan’s movies. Sakhti Kapoor was the best. Just a onetime watch!
