Haha!Looks like edmonton has got a good number of grocery stores that start with a ‘S’ (Safeway,Sobeys,Save on Foods etc..)and also glad to see that  most of the stores have gone environmental friendly with bags to sell.

But,the thing is, I don’t see many people remembering to bring in their environmental friendly bags while grocery shopping.So,plastic bags are still going on as of today

If you are into organic food there are couple of stores that cater to organic stuff ,example of a store is the Planet Organic on Jasper Avenue in Downtown.

There are a couple of stores that sell Indian groceries as well,mostly located in the Millwoods area.

So,if you are new to Edmonton and grocery hunting,I am sure you will find one that you like!

Oh my! Edmonton is so cold and dry.It started to snow bit by bit and the temperatures went to-19 Degrees.

It’s November and I see snow everywhere.

That’s why I like Halifax,since it only starts snowing in December and it is not as cold as here!

Alberta here I come! – for a couple of months.

The agenda for this second staff information session this year was  great, packed with useful information.I liked the information on the ethics model that Cheryl  discussed.Gail B’s talk on HR Strategic Directions was so clear and informative. By the way it was  DM ’s Birthday today so we all got to sing Happy Birthday to her as well. Great!
