Shri Jagannatha Ratha Yatra
I visited the Sri Radha Govindaji Temple today, and the temple is preparing for their annual ratha yatra this year on August 31 from 11am to 2p.m .Don’t know how they did it last year but I guess it will be great event.
The temple has bought in idols specially designed from puri and I had a darshan of lord jagannath, balarama and subhadra.
So ,if you are visiting Edmonton do visit the temple and join in for the chariot festival in August.

Vishnu Sahasranama
The Vishnu sahasranāma means thousand names of Vishnu. It is also one of the most sacred and commonly chanted stotras in Hinduism. It is widely accepted that the chanting or listening of this Stotra gives relief from all problems, freedom from anger, and leads to happiness and peace of mind. Vishnu sahasranama is in conformity with the teachings of the BhagavadGita.
If you like to listen to the stotra, here is the link, click on Vishnu sahasranama at the right hand corner and listen to the greatness of the strotram.
